Job Description
BASIS Independent Manhattan Upper is seeking a qualified Economics and Personal Finance Teacher to start Fall 2026. The teacher will prepare subject-specific lessons, provide instruction, and implement the BASIS Curriculum in an interactive learning environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in the subject area
  • Subject-matter postgraduate work (master's or Ph.D.) is preferred
  • Deep knowledge of and passion for the subject taught
  • Able to differentiate instruction and engage students in rigorous content
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with students, colleagues, and parents
