Job Description
The University of Alabama at Birmingham seeks an Editorial Manager for the UAB Medicine/Heersink School of Medicine Advancement team. The primary responsibility is to serve as the lead writer and editor for creating engaging content for donors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, English, or related field
  • Minimum of five (5) years in publishing, writing, and editing
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with AP Style preferred
  • Excellent project and time management skills
  • Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines, quality, and accuracy
