Role OverviewHDR's Denver Architecture studio is seeking a Principal to join our growing practice and world-class Education and Science expertise. As a Principal, you will help establish the vision and guide the overall direction of the market sector in Colorado and Wyoming. The role includes leadership, visioning, and developing capture plans, as well as maintaining relationships with key clients and allocating time to annual fee goals.
What You Will Do
Responsibilities include leadership and visioning for the sector, developing capture plans, maintaining an active presence in the sector, and allocating time to annual fee goals. You will also help develop qualifications and proposals for pursuits, lead pursuit go/no-go and strategy discussions, and direct interview strategies and implementation.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture
- 15 years related experience
- A minimum 7 years project management experience
- Registered Architect
- Experience on large-scale projects
- Must be able to lead a team on projects and make client presentations
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project)
- Extensive knowledge and experience within the local and regional market
- Strong team leadership, mentoring, motivational/organizational and people skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be willing to travel
