Job Description
The Massachusetts Department of Public Health is looking for a Training Technician III – Education and Training Coordinator based at Tewksbury Hospital. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape and strengthen the learning culture within a dynamic healthcare environment. In this position, you will lead the design, coordination, and evaluation of non-clinical training programs that support staff development, regulatory compliance, and organizational excellence.
Requirements
Assess organizational training needs by analyzing current programs, regulatory requirements, and leadership feedback to support long-term workforce development.
Design, implement, and evaluate non-clinical orientation and ongoing education programs aligned with adult learning principles and organizational goals.
Coordinate onboarding processes for new hires, including permanent, contracted, agency, and vendor staff, ensuring timely completion of required training and documentation.
Supervise and support Non-Clinical Educators, including assigning work, monitoring performance, and fostering professional development.
Deliver training and provide guidance to staff on effective teaching methods and instructional techniques.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards, including developing and executing tracer methodologies and maintaining accurate training records.
Manage training systems and reporting processes, including tracking completion, analyzing compliance data, and communicating gaps to leadership.
Develop and maintain training materials such as presentations, communications, and educational resources to support organizational initiatives.
Coordinate training logistics, including scheduling, calendars, speakers, and learning platforms, while supporting department operations as needed.
Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to develop policies, procedures, and role-specific competencies that enhance staff performance and organizational effectiveness.
