Role OverviewThe Education Coach will support teachers in utilizing effective teaching practices that lead to positive outcomes for children. The coach will provide technical assistance, co-teaching, and communities of practice, mentoring, and coaching to teachers.
What You Will Do
The coach will know and function in accordance with all required standards and licensing guidelines, including Head Start Performance Standards and State of Michigan Child Daycare Licensing Regulations. The coach will also plan goals and action steps with classroom staff, engage in focused observations, and reflect on and share feedback about teaching practices.

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education
- Three (3) years' experience in an Early Childhood Education Program
- Practice-Based Coaching certification
- CLASS Certification
- Valid Michigan Driver's license
- Ability to relate to all socioeconomic groups in a professional manner
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to compose and edit letters, including collecting, analyzing, presenting data/information for meeting or training purposes
- Detail-oriented and able to prioritize and complete tasks within a timely manner
- Problem Solving, Decision Making, and Interpersonal Skills
