Role OverviewThe Education & Life Skills Specialist is responsible for providing daily care, education, and life skills support to residents in the Unaccompanied Minor program. They collaborate with clinicians to make decisions around client education needs and coordinate with clinicians to distribute school records. The Specialist also provides supervision, evaluation, and consultation to the Education Administrative Assistant.
What You Will Do
The main responsibilities of the Education & Life Skills Specialist include providing post-secondary educational opportunities, conducting daily living skills trainings, and facilitating life skills activities to improve skills necessary for living independently. They also maintain accurate records of the youths' attendance and participation.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- Prior experience working with youth in a classroom or life skill setting preferred
- Bi-lingual in English and Spanish
- Must be 21 years of age
- Valid driver's license required
- Meets all qualifications as described in the Youth Treatment Specialist job description
