Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements for subject and level (strongly preferred)
  • ESL certification (strongly preferred)
  • Working knowledge of a second language (strongly preferred)
  • Trained in adult learning methodology and a minimum of two years’ experience working with adults
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, particularly with individuals from diverse social, economic, and ethnic backgrounds
