Job Description
The Ohio Department of Education and Workforce is seeking an Education Program Specialist - Urban Supports to provide support to the Cleveland Municipal School District and build capacity in urban school districts with a focus on students with disabilities. The ideal candidate resides in Cuyahoga County and will perform duties such as designing and implementing effective instructional practices, analyzing data, and verifying compliance with the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).

Requirements

  • 6 years of experience in education administration, special education, or education experience in an urban setting
  • Ability to travel throughout the State of Ohio and secure a valid Driver's License or supply own transportation
  • Ability to undergo a criminal background check and other investigative reviews
