Role OverviewThe Ohio Department of Education and Workforce is seeking an Education Program Specialist to participate in the implementation and oversight of programs and initiatives of the Child and Adult Care Food Program. The successful candidate will provide specialized program assistance and guidance to monitor Nutrition Programs with emphasis on the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) and affiliated sub-programs throughout assigned areas within the state.
What You Will Do
The Education Program Specialist will perform various duties, including interpreting state and federal regulations, conducting onsite reviews, evaluating food products, making recommendations, and providing technical assistance to maximize program usage.
