Job Description
The Education Program Specialist provides internal and external support for professional learning on high-quality, evidence-based instruction, Ohio’s Learning Standards, Ohio’s Model Curricula, and high-quality instructional materials. The specialist leads the creation or revision of Ohio’s K-12 Learning Standards and Model Curriculum, develops implementation supports, and partners with regional service providers to support the implementation of Ohio’s Learning Standards and Model Curriculum.

Requirements

  • 25 years of combined experience in the following: Working in an educational setting (i.e., pre-k, K-12, higher education) with experience in social studies and financial literacy
  • Leading high-level initiatives focused on social studies and financial literacy
  • 6 years of experience
