Job Description
EEG Technician job description. Demonstrates successful technical/patient skills by efficiently performing Electroneurodiagnostic studies. Provides age-specific care to patients. Maintains equipment and recording area in a clean and operational condition.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited/ABRET recognized EEG program
  • 2+ years Trained on the job in EEG with minimum of two years of clinical EEG experience
  • Math Aptitude
  • Computer skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Medical Terminology
  • Knowledge of EEG equipment
  • Knowledge of placement of EEG electrodes
  • EEG Pattern recognition skills
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
