Role OverviewThe EEO Investigator will support the agency's equal employment opportunity and diversity, equity, and inclusion goals by conducting investigations, preparing reports, and providing training to agency employees. The role requires wide latitude for independent judgment and involves working under general supervision.
What You Will Do
Conduct investigations, write reports, and make recommendations to the Chief Diversity Officer and Deputy EEO Officer. Manage a caseload of investigations, collaborate with internal and external partners, and assist in the development and delivery of EEO and Diversity & Inclusion trainings.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have one year of experience in Assignment Level I or two years of comparable legal experience subsequent to admission to the bar, in the areas of law related to the assignment. The candidate should have strong analytical and communication skills, and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Requirements
- Admission to the New York State Bar
- One year of satisfactory United States legal experience subsequent to admission to any state bar
- Six months of satisfactory service as an Agency Attorney Interne (30086)
- One year of experience at Assignment Level I or two years of comparable legal experience subsequent to admission to the bar, in the areas of law related to the assignment
- Two years of experience in Assignment Levels I and/or II or three years of comparable legal experience subsequent to admission to the bar, in the areas of law related to the assignment
