EHS AUDIT SPECIALIST

Job Description
The NYC Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) is seeking a Project Manager to serve as an EHS Audit Specialist. The selected candidate will work with an outside EHS auditor, reviewing the EHS performance of BEDC's projects and contractors, and developing reports.

Requirements

  • Baccalaureate degree in engineering, engineering technology, architecture, landscape architecture, architectural technology, construction, construction management, construction technology, sustainable design, urban planning, urban studies, city planning, transportation planning, business administration, or public administration
  • One year of full-time satisfactory experience in project management work
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to meet deadlines, and an ability to be flexible in assignment of work responsibilities
  • Understanding of ISO-style auditing
  • Understanding of environmental, health and safety requirements
