Job Description
As an EHS Specialist, you will contribute to Ball's success by supporting plant EHS function and ensuring that the plant EHS meets Ball's overall environmental health and safety plans and objectives. In this role, you will work in both an office and manufacturing environments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial/Environmental Engineering or Environmental Health and Safety, Occupational Safety or other relevant discipline or at least 2 years of work-related experience in an EHS role
  • Minimum 6 months of Environmental, Health and Safety experience through internships or professional experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong facilitation, communication, and change management skills
  • Familiarity with some or all the following areas: safety and environmental regulations, OSHA requirements, environmental principles, procedures terminology and generally accepted managerial practices and procedures
  • Ability to understand, interpret and administer OSHA Regulations, company policies, procedures, practices, and standards of conduct
