Role Overview

The Electrical Apprentice will assist Journeymen and Master Electricians with the installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, and inspection of Electrical and Instrumentation equipment within an industrial environment.

What You Will Do

Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install electrical conduit, install tubing for instruments, pull wiring through conduit and label appropriately, connect wiring to controllers and instruments, and assist with testing continuity of circuits.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, or equivalent
  • Reliable transportation
  • Knowledge and application of safety standards
  • Knowledge of electrical codes and best practices through training, vocational schooling, or apprenticeship program
  • A minimum of 1 year’s experience as an Electrician in a construction/industrial setting
  • Currently enrolled/willing to enroll in an apprenticeship program
  • Experience with common tools used such as: hand tools, power tools (saws, drills), machinery (conduit cutters), multimeters, tubing bender and cutters
  • Negative 10-panel urinalysis and breath alcohol test
  • Valid Driver's License and proof of U.S. Citizenship
  • Satisfactory background check
