Role OverviewJoin the IPG Team as an Electrical Assembler, responsible for assembling electrical components according to schematics to complete high-quality products for customers in a timely manner. Travel to customer sites for installations, repairs, and other tasks as needed.
What You Will Do
Assemble electrical components, troubleshoot basic electrical problems, and ensure all functionality and appearance expectations are met. Work closely with other departments to set priorities and communicate progress and needs.

Ideal candidate has formal electrical training or on-the-job experience, familiarity with NEC, UL, and/or CSA codes, and strong analytical and troubleshooting skills of electrical controls systems.
Requirements
- Formal electrical training or on-the-job experience in the electrical field
- Familiarity with NEC, UL, and/or CSA codes
- Ability to read/understand electrical schematics and create redlines
- Knowledge of specific packaging equipment components
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to use hand tools
- Ability to use computer to print wire labels
- Familiarity with machine shop equipment
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills of electrical controls systems
- Proficient in metric systems
