Electrical Assembly

Requirements

• Apply electronic theory and electrical testing procedures to layout, build, test, troubleshoot, repair, and modify electrical equipment.
• Assemble electrical components, sub-assemblies, and systems according to engineering drawings.
• Diagnose malfunctioning electrical components using test equipment, computer, and engineering drawings.
• Connect components and route wires between individual components, using connectors, terminals, soldering and other wiring procedures.
• Use business system to enter time spent working on assemblies/sub-assemblies and to complete operations.
• Coordinate with engineering to ensure Engineering Change Requests are submitted.
• Complete final inspection checklist and inspect equipment for quality.
• Assist other departments to optimize throughput.
• Visibly support continuous improvement activities.
• Responsible for own safety.
