Job Description
A Senior Electrical Design/Avionics Integration Engineer is needed to contribute to the development of the Space Launch System (SLS) Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) labs, supporting NASA systems at the Marshall Space Flight center in Huntsville, Alabama.

Requirements

  • Broad technical capability to understand design and operation of real-time HWIL avionics systems
  • Experience with hardware-in-the-loop laboratories
  • Electrical control and electrical power systems design, integration & test for launch vehicles, aircraft, satellites, or payloads
  • Full lifecycle PCB design, including collecting requirements, schematic capture, component selection, and PCB layout
  • Experience with aerospace system design and avionics system behavior assessment
  • Working knowledge of digital communication technologies and data acquisition systems
