Role Overview

The Electrical Engineer I will support the circuit card design process, turning designs into robust and reliable reality. Individuals will interface with multiple internal stakeholders and external suppliers to develop high quality producible designs. Team members will be exposed to all phases of the circuit card lifecycle from development through production and will present their findings through program design reviews.

What You Will Do

The Electrical Engineer I will support the following areas: Electrical Component Engineers ensuring cost effective and robust parts are used to ensure successful products, by selecting, specifying, and determining application adherence for electrical components.

Why It Might Be a Fit

Individuals will evaluate risk and verification data packages that will support component selections and provide justification to program customers. They will identify parts to be included on the preferred parts list, drive usage of these standardized parts, provide recommendations to mitigate obsolescence issues, and identify solutions to meet customer component requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) major.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
