Role Overview

The Electrical Construction Manager will oversee contractors, ensuring projects proceed according to scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards. The role requires a deep understanding of electrical project management principles, methods, and techniques. The successful applicant will work collaboratively with site Safety leadership to develop a proactive Safety culture and maintain a working relationship with the client based on industry-leading customer service.

What You Will Do

Responsibilities include managing day-to-day project activities, conducting site visits, reviewing change orders and monthly reports, reviewing contract drawings and specifications, and preparing minutes. The Electrical Construction Manager will also review and make comments concerning the terms of the construction agreement and assist with job-specific procedures.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in construction in related industry
  • Bachelors' Degree or related electrical experience
  • Excellent written, verbal, and analytic skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Understanding of contract documents, specifications, project plans, and all other project-related documents
  • Highly motivated self-starter
  • Ability to multi-task and identify priority activities
  • Computer skills, including MS Office, MS Project, Bluebeam/Adobe, OneNote, construction project management software
  • Basic knowledge of construction estimation
  • Basic knowledge of the financial components that create payment applications, change orders, and other construction financial documents
