Role OverviewThe Electrical Engineer will join a global engineering team responsible for the design and continuous innovation of AWS data centers. The team owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. The engineer will collaborate with people across AWS to deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the best possible cost for customers.
What You Will Do
The Electrical Engineer will design resilient, cost-effective electrical distribution systems, create designs that meet or exceed quality requirements and fall within budgetary requirements, and work with local agencies to ensure compliance with federal, state, and municipal requirements and building codes.

Requirements
- 4+ years of industrial or commercial engineering in mission critical facilities including but not limited to: data centers, power generation or oil and gas facilities experience
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Experience in industrial or commercial engineering in mission critical facilities including but not limited to: data centers, power generation or oil and gas facilities
- Experience researching new designs, technologies, and construction methods of data center equipment and facilities
