Job Description
P2S is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer with 2+ years of experience to support their healthcare studio in Long Beach or Irvine office. The ideal candidate is passionate about sustainable design, technical excellence, and leading impactful projects.

Requirements

  • Prepare, plan, and execute small to medium-sized healthcare projects with general supervision
  • Apply standard design techniques, perform engineering calculations, and contribute to construction documentation and administration
  • Review existing as-built drawings, conduct field investigations, and set up drawings and models for multiple disciplines
  • Perform energy calculations using EnergyPro or IES VE, develop single-line diagrams and load schedules, and design lighting systems and controls
  • Engineer normal, emergency, and renewable power systems, conduct Arc Flash, Short Circuit, and Coordination Power System Studies
  • Review submittals and respond to RFIs, produce meeting reports and punch lists, and participate in construction meetings and provide clarifications
