Role OverviewThe Designer/Drafter is responsible for preparing detailed electrical and structural drawings, schematics, and layouts to support engineering and field service projects. This role translates conceptual designs and technical information into accurate CAD drawings and models that comply with industry standards, client specifications, and company procedures.
What You Will Do
Develop and revise CAD drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and one-line diagrams for electrical power systems projects, review drawings for accuracy, and collaborate with engineers to translate design concepts into accurate, constructible drawings.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of design or CAD drafting experience, proficiency with AutoCAD, MicroStation, or similar CAD software, and knowledge of utility codes and standards (NEC, NESC, IEEE, NETA).
