Role Overview

As an Electrical EIT/Coordinator at HDR, you'll help design critical infrastructure that supports the digital age and shapes the spaces where people work, connect, and thrive. You'll work directly with owners to develop recommendations, review electrical documents, and write/edit electrical specifications. You'll also take on contract administration responsibilities, make decisions on design and engineering features, and supervise work of Electrical CAD Technicians.

What You Will Do

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include performing assignments exercising judgment in evaluation, selection, and modification of electrical engineering techniques and procedures, working with owners to develop recommendations, and reviewing electrical documents for areas of conflict with all disciplines.

Why It Might Be a Fit

We're looking for someone with a strong computer skills using AutoCAD and Microsoft Office, Revit, SKM, AGI, and Easy Power, and a desire to pursue growth opportunities and obtain registration. Experience and/or interest in sustainable design/LEED is desired but not required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an Electrical emphasis
  • Desire to pursue growth opportunities and obtain registration
  • Strong computer skills using AutoCAD and Microsoft Office, Revit, SKM, AGI, and Easy Power
