Job Description
Role Overview

As an Electrical EIT/Designer at HDR, you will perform assignments exercising judgment in evaluation, selection, and modification of electrical engineering techniques and procedures. You will work directly with owners to develop recommendations, review electrical documents, and write/edit electrical specifications. You will also take on contract administration responsibilities and make decisions on significant design and engineering features.

What You Will Do

Your main day-to-day responsibilities will include performing assignments, working with owners, reviewing electrical documents, writing/editing specifications, and taking on contract administration responsibilities. You will also make decisions on design and engineering features as needed.

Why It Might Be a Fit

This role is a fit for candidates who have a strong computer knowledge of Microsoft Office, familiarity with electrical design software, and experience with electrical devices and circuits. A Master's degree in electrical engineering or architectural engineering with an electrical emphasis is preferred, and EIT certification is strongly preferred.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an Electrical emphasis
  • Strong computer skills using AutoCAD and Microsoft Office, Revit, SKM, AGI, and Easy Power
