Electrical Engineer (Buildings)

As an Electrical Engineer (Buildings) at HDR, you will be part of the Building Engineering Services Group, helping design critical infrastructure that supports the digital age and shapes the spaces where people work, connect, and thrive. You will work with mechanical, electrical, structural, and civil engineering experts to solve complex design challenges with precision, creativity, and collaboration.

What You Will Do

Your main day-to-day responsibilities will include coordinating electrical design work, establishing meetings with governing agencies, reviewing electrical documents, writing electrical specifications, and providing construction contract administration.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an Electrical emphasis
• Previous experience in electrical design of buildings (lighting/power/systems)
• Professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered
• Strong computer skills using AutoCAD and Microsoft Office, Revit, SKM, AGI and Easy Power
