Job Description
Mesa Associates, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineer II to work on multi-discipline projects in power generation, including greenfield renewable projects. The ideal candidate will have experience with power distribution, motor controls, and power distribution system modeling software.

Requirements

  • Electrical Engineer with an emphasis on power generation
  • Multi-discipline projects in hydro, gas and fossil power generating facility experience
  • Micro grid, Solar, Wind and Battery Storage experience
  • Performing calculations and conceptual designs for greenfield renewable projects
  • Duke, TVA, Exelon, Dominion or other power industry experience
  • Low voltage and medium voltage power distribution experience
  • Motor controls for both low voltage and medium voltage experience
  • Interfacing industrial processes to DCS and/or PLC systems experience
  • Power distribution system modeling software (ETAP or similar) experience
  • Panel design and 3D environment experience
  • Leading engineering and design efforts
  • Coordinating with project managers and clients
  • Developing proposal documents and estimates
  • Experience in relay protection
