Job Description
ASRC Federal is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support the FAA's Radar System Replacement (RSR) program. The engineer will work closely with the System Engineer Lead and other engineers to evaluate, design, integrate, and support electrical systems required for installation and operation of the new cooperative and integrated radar systems deployed across FAA facilities. The role requires hands-on engineering experience, the ability to interpret and develop electrical diagrams, and the capability to support field and implementation activities across a compressed, nationwide deployment timeline.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably in electrical engineering (mechanical or systems engineering considered with relevant experience)
  • 3+ years of engineering experience supporting electrical system design, field engineering, power systems, or facility electrical infrastructure
  • Experience interpreting or developing electrical diagrams, panel schedules, grounding plans, and cable routing drawings
  • Working knowledge of power distribution, AC/DC systems, grounding/bonding, electrical safety practices, and equipment installation standards
  • Ability to support field surveys and on-site implementation activities at FAA facilities
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to prepare technical documentation and interact with multidisciplinary engineering teams
  • Ability to pass an FAA background investigation (US Citizenship or Permanent Residency required)
  • Ability to travel to various locations; must have proper travel documents. At least 50% travel
