Job Description
Mariana Minerals is seeking a highly motivated Electrical Engineer to support the design and implementation of power systems that enable the build-out of critical mineral infrastructure vital to the global energy transition. The Electrical Engineer will lead and contribute to the development of high, medium, and low voltage electrical distribution systems for industrial infrastructure projects.
Requirements
Design and develop power distribution systems across high, medium, and low voltage networks for industrial infrastructure projects.
Produce and review single-line diagrams (SLDs), panel schedules, wiring diagrams, grounding plans, conduit/cable schedules, and equipment specifications.
Perform power system studies including: Load flow and voltage drop analysis, Short circuit analysis, Arc flash hazard assessment, Protective device coordination.
Select and specify electrical equipment such as transformers, switchgear, motor control centers (MCCs), variable frequency drives (VFDs), and UPS systems.
Design and implement protection and relaying schemes, including relay settings and coordination for system reliability.
Interface with utility providers, coordinate interconnections, and support applications and grid compliance efforts.
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams (mechanical, civil, process), vendors, and contractors to support system integration and field implementation.
Support construction, commissioning, and energization with field engineering support, RFI resolution, and as-built documentation.
