Role Overview

As an Electrical Engineer at Harmar Mobility, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining electronics for medical devices. You will evaluate and optimize product concepts, generate prototypes, and perform product testing to ensure products function properly and meet specifications. You will also work on special projects, provide technical support, and improve the electronics development process.

What You Will Do

Your main day-to-day responsibilities will include developing and evaluating cost analysis for new and modified product concepts, working on special projects, and providing technical support in solving electronic product quality problems. You will also be responsible for managing internal testing resources and ensuring the quality of testing and reporting.

Requirements

  • History of working independently and as a member of a team under time and resource constraints
  • Experience indicating strong planning/organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to manage projects, multi-task, and set priorities
  • Evidence of strong technical problem-solving skills and the ability to develop solutions for a smooth workflow in a fast-paced product development environment
  • Ability to specify, evaluate, and select appropriate electrical/electronic components
  • Experience working in a design team interfacing with customers, suppliers, and technical resources outside the company
  • Familiarity with firmware/hardware interactions and compliance issues
