Role Overview

As an Electrical Engineer at Widseth, you'll work on diverse building projects, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and see your designs become reality from initial concept through construction. You'll design electrical systems, develop construction documents, and coordinate designs with architects and clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field
  • Minnesota Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • Ability to obtain licensure in North Dakota within six months
  • 7+ years of experience designing electrical building systems
  • Experience with commercial, institutional, industrial, or municipal building projects
  • Proficiency with design software such as Revit, AutoCAD, SKM, ETAP, or similar tools
  • Strong understanding of NEC, NFPA, IBC, IEEE, and other applicable codes and standards
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a collaborative environment
  • Excellent communication and client service skills
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed
