Job Description
HDR is looking for an Electrical Engineering Leader to join their Building Engineering Services (BES) Business Group in Folsom or Walnut Creek, CA. The Electrical Engineering Leader will provide electrical engineering expertise, supervise, and mentor, as well as produce electrical systems design for various markets. They will also be responsible for the operation of the Northern California BES electrical team, staff development, workflow, and forecasting, proposals, and level of effort, scheduling, profitability, morale, and quality control. The role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary design teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a Professional, Architecture, Engineering or closely related field
  • 10 years of experience
  • Committed to quality, improvement and HDR values
  • Maintains a professional or engineering registration and has related technical experience
  • Experienced in development and management of diverse teams
  • Strong communication and listening skills
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments
  • Good leadership and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Proficiency with SKM electrical system modeling software
  • Proficiency with lighting modeling software such as Visual
  • Electrical PE licensure in California
