Job Description
As an Electrical Engineering Technical Lead at HDR, you will lead multidisciplinary teams, establish client relations, and coordinate electrical work on projects. You will also be responsible for market sector focused expertise, professional society involvement, and understanding market sector and design trends.

Requirements

  • Coordinate the Electrical work with the balance of a multidiscipline team throughout the entire project's development
  • Establish client relations and participate in marketing, design and production meetings regarding electrical systems
  • Assume the electrical lead on projects
  • Participate in reviews with various governing agencies for code compliance
  • Conduct schematic, design development and contract document work sessions with the Project Manager, Project Architect and other disciplines
  • Monitor project development and financials with project lead to coordinate and adjust the work effort with the team so work is completed within the parameters of the agreed upon budget and schedule
  • Work with the Project Manager and Regional Controller on project reviews with corporate management as needed
  • Direct the activities of other electrical engineering professionals and act as a mentor to other staff members as needed
  • Perform other duties as needed
