Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Estimator to join a growing commercial electrical contractor serving the Houston market. This role is responsible for preparing accurate, competitive estimates for commercial and industrial electrical construction projects while managing the bidding process from plan review through project handoff.
What You Will Do
Prepare accurate cost estimates for commercial and industrial electrical construction projects, perform detailed quantity takeoffs, solicit and review vendor quotations, and develop complete bid proposals.

Requirements
- 5+ years of commercial electrical estimating experience
- Experience estimating commercial, industrial, healthcare, educational, or institutional electrical projects
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, NEC requirements, construction drawings, and specifications
- Proficiency performing detailed quantity takeoffs and developing complete bid proposals
- Experience using electrical estimating software (Accubid, ConEst, McCormick, or similar) and Microsoft Excel
