Electrical Field Tech

Requirements

• Level II or III electrical technician with electrical and mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot electrical components of up to 480 volts systems.
• Highly motivated and responsible with regard to maintaining the inventory on their service truck, completing service reports in a timely manner and providing quality service to their customers.
• Must be fluent in English and possess the following abilities: to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos, to write simple correspondence, to effectively present information in one on one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Bilingual a plus.
• Possess the ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Possess the ability to compute rate, ratio and percentage.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Extensive travel to customer locations.
• Ability to mentor and supervise trainees, and rig personnel on select above rig equipment.
• Ability to communicate efficiently with other rig technicians, maintenance manager, proper rig personnel and others in the Operations department.
