Job Description
Convergint is looking for a full-time Electrical Installer to install, program, test, and service various systems and equipment. The candidate will work closely with customers and internal colleagues, providing technical installation support and training.

Requirements

  • High School/GED or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3-5 years in electronic security industry
  • Previous construction experience including some level of electrical or a low voltage background
  • Relevant trade designation (e.g. Electrician)
  • Experience in 1 or more of the following industries: electronic, fire alarm & life safety, and/or building automation
  • Certifications & Licenses: Project Management Institute (PMI); industry-specific certifications and/or
  • Solid Construction Skills and understanding of system plans
  • Strong customer focus and ability to work under pressure
  • Solid mechanical and electrical aptitude
  • Solid verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
