Job Description
As an Electrical Journeyman (Mechanic) at AC Corporation, you will work on various electrical projects, including installation, repair, and maintenance. You will be responsible for measuring, cutting, and assembling electrical conduit, connecting wiring to lighting fixtures and power equipment, and testing circuit continuity to ensure electrical compatibility and safety.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of electrical experience
  • Able to operate a backhoe
  • Ability to interpret mechanical, plumbing and structural drawings
  • Able to lay out parking lot lighting and install pole bases
  • Ability to think critically and resolve problems
  • Can communicate and give written instruction in a professional manner
  • Comfortable with MS Office (EXCEL, Word, Outlook)
  • Thorough understanding of safety requirements and OSHA guidelines
  • Able to read and understand blueprints, sketches, labels, job site maps/directions, instruction manuals and written instructions accurately
  • Must be high school graduate or hold G.E.D.
  • Must have valid driver's license
