Role OverviewPerforms electrical trade functions in the installation, maintenance, repair, and/or distribution of electrical energy. Installs, maintains, and replaces electronic programmable controllers in a manufacturing environment. Responsible for completing tasks, prioritizing activities, and ensuring assigned areas are clean and organized.
What You Will Do
Perform a variety of electrical trade functions, including installing, maintaining, and replacing electronic programmable controllers, inspecting and maintaining safety devices, and completing basic hydraulic and pneumatic circuit modifications.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have 4 or more years of industrial maintenance experience, 2 years of industrial electrical experience, and formal PLC training. They will be able to lead projects, complete tasks successfully, and prioritize activities for assigned areas.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of electrical code
- Associate degree in industrial electronics preferred
- 4 or more years industrial maintenance experience
- 2 years industrial electrical experience
- Formal PLC training preferred
- Basic computer knowledge (Microsoft Office)
