Role OverviewThe Electrical Project Buyer is a key member of the Supply Chain organization responsible for ensuring all electrical materials required for custom engineered projects are sourced, purchased, and delivered accurately and on time. This role serves as the primary purchasing partner for electrical and controls-related project needs. The buyer works closely with Project Managers, Engineering, Manufacturing Coordination, and Quality to understand project scope, BOM requirements, specifications, and build schedules.
What You Will Do
Source and procure electrical components, hardware, controls, conduit, wire, panels, assemblies, and other project materials while securing competitive pricing and terms. Prepare and manage accurate purchase orders, RFQs, supplier acknowledgements, and job-specific material requirements using Epicor. Collaborate with Engineering, Project Management, and Manufacturing to ensure material availability aligns with project schedules, specifications, and operational requirements.

Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in purchasing, customer service, operations, logistics, inventory, or related field
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
- ERP (Epicor E10) experience preferred
- Sanitary stainless-steel industry background, helpful
