Job Description
Role Overview

This role offers a hybrid work arrangement, with three days a week in the office and two days remote. You'll lead a project team in the design, modification, and/or upgrade of new and existing power plant electrical systems. You'll work with management to develop project scopes, budgets, and schedules, and oversee staff assignments and evaluations.

What You Will Do

You will be responsible for reviewing, supervising, and providing technical guidance in the production of design deliverables, including cable schedules, grounding layout, and electrical notes and details. You'll also lead field walkdowns and data gathering at client facilities.

Why It Might Be a Fit

This role requires 15+ years of detailed physical design experience, extensive Microstation and/or AutoCAD design experience, and a thorough understanding of drafting and design practices and theories. You'll have the opportunity to work with a team and lead multiple teams across multiple projects.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree in drafting, or a high school diploma and equivalent technical design experience
  • 15 or more years of detailed physical design experience
  • Extensive Microstation and/or AutoCAD design experience
  • A thorough understanding of drafting and design practices and theories
