Role Overview

The Project Manager is responsible for managing personnel in all areas of construction and operations, maintaining all equipment while estimating costs of maintenance and repair to the equipment. This role involves managing electrical activities associated with Darling Ingredients or its subsidiaries, scheduling mechanical field personnel, and dealing with issues that may arise. The Project Manager will also be responsible for the supervision and procurement of sub-contractors, troubleshooting existing equipment, and tracking progress on construction jobs.

What You Will Do

The Project Manager will be responsible for managing all electrical activities, scheduling personnel, and dealing with issues that may arise. They will also be responsible for the supervision and procurement of sub-contractors, troubleshooting existing equipment, and tracking progress on construction jobs. Additionally, the Project Manager will be responsible for communicating with upper management, coordinating ongoing and upcoming jobs, and ensuring that any downtime is kept within the allotted time frame.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in the implementation and coordination of both high level construction and process operations
  • Electrical certifications
  • Prior supervisory experience
  • Construction experience preferred
  • Good working knowledge of general mechanical background
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work with others in a professional manner
  • Excellent work ethic and positive attitude
