Electrical Superintendent I (33455)

Requirements

• 6 years or more of commercial/industrial electrical experience
• Comprehend reading and drawing prints, specifications, and schematics
• Bend conduit by hand with hand benders
• Utilize all power tools, saws, threaders, and knockout punches
• Operate wire tuggers and hydraulic benders
• Dig trenches, either by use of hand tools or power equipment
• Operate all equipment including trenchers, backhoe, and lift trucks in a safe manner
• Comprehend and practice safe work procedures as outlined in CECs Safety Policy Handbook, Haz-Com Policy, and Lockout/Tagout Policy
• Operate two handed tools/equipment, cable cutters, hammer drills, compression tools, and jack hammers
• Operate company vehicles with both manual and automatic transmission
• Read and interpret maps, instructional manuals, work site directions, and written instructions
• Operate and work from mechanical personnel lifts, both electric and gasoline powered
• Work energized circuits and equipment with company management approval as outlined in CECs Safety Policy
• Install and make branch wire terminations in junction boxes and panel boards
• Install and make feeder wire terminations in junction boxes and switch boards
• Work Environment: Inside and outside with possible exposure to extreme hot or cold temperatures and weather elements in restricted or confined spaces, and on slippery or uneven surfaces
• Physical Demands: Must be able to travers and inspect all areas of jobsite in all types of weather; this may include walking, climbing reaching, bending crawling, standing, or stretching.
