Electrical Team Lead

As Electrical Team Lead, you'll provide leadership for the Illinois/Indiana Building Engineering Services electrical engineering team, focusing on technical excellence, quality, recruiting, and staff development. You'll identify and collaborate with market sector leadership to ensure technical excellence in key markets, engage with clients and community stakeholders, and promote HDR and our Electrical Engineering practice within the engineering and architecture community.

What You Will Do

You'll provide leadership for the electrical engineering team, identify and collaborate with market sector leadership, engage with clients and community stakeholders, and promote HDR and our Electrical Engineering practice. You'll also function as design lead or engineering project manager for key projects, assist in the responsibility for operations of the electrical work group, and implement, monitor, and support company policy.

Why It Might Be a Fit

We're looking for a strong leader with a minimum of 7 years of experience, a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, and professional registration, license, or certification. You'll need strong communication and listening skills, the ability to handle multiple assignments, and good leadership and organizational skills. Preference is given to local candidates.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with Electrical emphasis
• Actively engaged in professional or industry associations to enhance HDR technical expertise and brand
• Professional registration, license, or certification may be required based on role
