Job Description
Peabody is seeking an Sr Lead – Plant Maintenance, Electrician, to join the maintenance team at the North Antelope Rochelle Mine (NARM) in Wright, Wyoming. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems on large mining haul trucks. The role supports safe and efficient mining operations by maximizing truck availability, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and maintaining high-quality workmanship in a shop environment.

Requirements

  • Follow all MSHA regulations, company policies, and safe work procedures
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems on haul trucks
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to reduce unscheduled downtime
  • Diagnose faults using OEM diagnostic software and service tools
  • Identify root causes of electrical failures and implement effective repairs
  • Repair or replace alternators, starters, sensors, switches, relays, and control modules
  • Perform wiring repairs, terminations, and harness replacements
  • Ensure all repairs meet OEM and company standards
