Job Description
The Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities is seeking a skilled Electrician 2 to serve as part of a statewide roving maintenance team supporting Ohio’s Developmental Centers. The role involves installing, inspecting, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems & equipment across multiple facilities, supporting critical infrastructure, and ensuring system reliability and compliance with safety standards.

Requirements

  • 18 months training or 18 months verifiable experience in electrical work under supervision of experienced electrician
  • Formal education in arithmetic that includes addition, subtraction, multiplication & division & in reading & writing common English vocabulary
  • Or 6 months experience as Electrician 1, 52281
  • Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment
