Role OverviewAssist an electrician in installing and repairing electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment. Measures, cuts, and bends wires and conduit using ruler and hand tools. Drills holes for wiring using power drill and pulls or pushes wiring through opening. Assists in lifting, positioning, and fastening objects, such as wiring, conduit, and motors. Performs minor repairs, such as replacing fuses, light sockets, bulbs, and switches using hand tools.
What You Will Do
Assist in the Installation of electrical raceway systems comprised of rigid PVC and EMT conduit and aluminum cable tray. Installation of electrical devices such as light fixtures and start/stop stations. Safe operation of hand and power tools such as band saws, drills, conduit threaders, hole punches and wire tuggers.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Must possess a valid Electrical Apprentice license. Must have knowledge of OSHA Electrical Safe Work Practices and Personal Protective Equipment. Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
