Job Description
ArcelorMittal Calvert is seeking an Electrician Cold Roll Mill Maintenance professional to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical maintenance, knowledge of digital technology and programmable logic controllers, and be able to work in an industrial setting.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/General Equivalency Diploma (GED)
  • Ability to read and understand electrical drawings, and to understand electrical/electronic components/inverters
  • Basics of digital technology, programmable logic controllers (PLC)
  • Ability to work with electrical measurement
  • Knowledge of AC motors, drives, sensors and actors
  • Knowledge of switchgears
  • Computer skills to include knowledge of network technology, Microsoft Office, and SAP
  • Ability to read and understand hydraulic and mechanical drawings as well as P&ID's
  • Experience/knowledge of coil transport systems, inspection lines, furnaces, power distribution systems, motors, variable frequency drives, automation systems, measurement systems, instrumentation equipment, and hydraulic systems
  • Internship or Associates Degree
  • 3 years’ electrical maintenance experience
  • Experience in the steel industry
