Role OverviewOversees a crew in planning, layouts, installation, and repair of wiring, conduit, electrical fixtures, apparatus, and control equipment.
What You Will Do
Prepares sketches, measures, cuts, bends, threads, and installs electrical conduit, pulls wiring through conduit, splices wires, connects wiring to lighting fixtures, and installs control and distribution apparatus.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Must have valid Driver’s license, knowledge of certain procedures such as LOTO, and ability to distinguish colors.
Requirements
- High school diploma or its equivalent
- Previous years of experience in the field or in a related area
- Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
- Ability to work within precise limits or standards of accuracy
- Ability to perform a variety of duties which may change often
- Ability to perform arithmetical operations rapidly and accurately
- Ability to see detail in objects or drawings as 3-dimensionsl objects
- Ability to work at heights without fear
