Role OverviewAssist journeyman electrician in planning, layout, installation, testing, and repair of wiring, electrical fixtures, apparatus, motors, equipment, and control systems. Perform minor repairs, maintain tools and equipment, and load, transport, and furnish materials.
What You Will Do
Learn to use hand and power tools, perform layout independently, observe functioning of installed equipment, and identify hazards. Participate in safety processes, engage with work team, and understand safety hazards and warning devices.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Must have 4001-6000 hours (2-3 years) of experience working as an electrician or similar craft as a helper or a combination of work experience and training. Must be familiar with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and have all necessary licenses for the jurisdiction.
