Role Overview

As a Maintenance and Controls Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and continuous improvement of advanced pharmacy automation equipment in a high-volume, regulated environment.

What You Will Do

Lead advanced maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of automated pharmacy equipment using electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and control system schematics. Troubleshoot, install, service, and repair automated production equipment, including robotics, PLCs, electrical controls, and software interfaces.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in automation engineering, maintenance, or a closely related technical field
  • Hands-on experience maintaining and troubleshooting high-volume automated or pharmaceutical production equipment
  • Strong mechanical and electro-mechanical troubleshooting skills
  • Proficiency with PLCs, I/O, field devices, robotic systems, and electrical controls
  • Experience using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to manage work orders and maintenance data
  • Working knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance practices
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and participate in on-call support as needed
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to other sites or facilities
